Like the title says, it’s finally race week again, and it feels like I’ve been waiting a long time since the last IMSA event, even if it has only been about a month between races for me. This week, we’ll be at one of my favorite places on the calendar: Road America. I’ll be continuing to campaign with Ashton Harrison in the Wayne Taylor Racing Lamborghini Super Trofeo as we keep working on our championship fight.

In my time away from the IMSA schedule, I’ve been fortunate to get a lot of time in with coaching clients, both at and away from the track. I’ve also been staying heavily focused on physical conditioning in preparation for the hottest part of our race season.

One cool aspect of my training is that I was able to participate in a 10K Spartan race recently. It was my first obstacle course race (OCR). Not only was it really challenging, but it was also a lot of fun. The physical conditioning to prep for that fit perfectly into my training regimen for racing.

This week, you can tune in for all the action, which starts on Thursday afternoon with practice. You can keep up with live timing and scoring on IMSA.com and watch the races via the Peacock app. Our first race is on Saturday, and race two is on Sunday.
