I’m looking forward to heading off to Austin, Texas, for an event at Circuit of the Americas this week. I haven’t been there since the spring, and this will be the first World Racing League event that I’ve participated in this season.
The format for this style of endurance racing is one I’ve been involved with for many years, but with the way my schedule has been, I haven’t had a chance to be at a World Racing League event yet.
This week will also be my first time working with a team that is relatively new but growing at a rapid rate. TCB Racing will be fielding multiple Supra GT4s at Circuit of the Americas, and I’ll be both coaching and co-driving with them.

I’m excited because I get to work with new clients, but some of the team members are also longtime friends of mine. It will be fun to work alongside them and to call them my teammates.
I’ve had the opportunity to talk with the team on a couple of occasions in preparation for this event. The team has had really good organization and pre-event prep, and we’ve had productive planning sessions about our upcoming days at the track.
Check back next week. I’m looking forward to giving a full report on how it goes!
