I just wrapped up with the WRL race at Circuit of the Americas. It’s been a while since I attended a WRL event, and the series has certainly picked up momentum: we had nearly 80 cars on the grid!

It started off as a chilly week, but that didn’t stop the team I was working with for the first time— TCB Racing —from making tremendous progress during the practice days in preparation for the two races over the weekend.

I really enjoyed getting familiar with the team and all of its members, including the drivers and crew. I also appreciated the chance to work closely with the team engineer to help fine-tune the car. I’ve raced a Supra GT4 in IMSA trim before, and as it turns out, a lot of those fine-tuning aspects proved to be the same.

With a three-driver lineup in the car, each of them had their strengths and opportunities, which kept it enjoyable and dynamic for me. I got to see their progress, but we also got to compare and contrast each other throughout the event. Those three got the car into a great position during the races, and then I got to jump in to help bring it home.

As the races unfolded, the drivers did a tremendous job keeping their nose clean despite the huge field of cars and varying classes of speed. They pulled out a pair of top-ten finishes for the event!

I was really pleased with TCB Racing’s performance as well as their development throughout the event, and I also appreciate what a positive culture they’re fostering on the team. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with them into the 2026 season.
