This week we’re at Sebring testing for the upcoming 12 Hours. I’m really excited to be here at Sebring because we’ve got beautiful Florida weather and I’m driving a car that’s new to me, the Acura NSX GT3.

I’ve done a lot to prepare for this test with Racer’s Edge, and I’ve been focusing on different aspects for Ashton and myself: she knows the car but not the race, and I know the race but not the car.

Since Ashton hasn’t raced the series or the 12 Hours of Sebring before, I’ve been working with her on all the nuances to help us develop her craft as she enters her first IMSA WeatherTech race. Since I haven’t driven the Acura before, I’m working on getting familiar with its buttons and switches and other details as well as reviewing plenty of video and doing some simulator work. By being better prepared, I can make this test as productive as possible.

Check back next week for a full report on how the test goes for us. Our schedule even includes some night testing to get us ready for the final stretch of the 12 Hours of Sebring!
