We just recently announced I’ll be driving an Acura NSX GT3 in the GTD Pro class in this year’s 12 Hours of Sebring with one of my longtime coaching clients, Ashton Harrison. You can find all the details here from Racer’s Edge.

This is going to be a bit of a different perspective when it comes to working with Ashton. It’s the first time we’ve ever been co-drivers in the eight years I’ve been working with her! Traditionally, I’ve been the coach outside the car, on the radio, reviewing data and video. Now, I get to share the experience in the car along with her, as well as all the challenges Sebring brings: pit stops, racing at night, faster traffic with different classes all on track together, and, of course, the infamous track surface. Believe it or not, Sebring is one of the hardest endurance races out there, despite it “only” being a 12-hour.

This is a really exciting opportunity for me. I’ve driven some GT3 cars, but never the Acura NSX, so I’m looking forward to that. I’m also looking forward to being teamed up with Kyle Marcelli, who is our third co-driver and a multi-time IMSA Champion. Ironically, Kyle and I are both driving Supras in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge this year!

I had the chance to run with Racer’s Edge a number of years ago in a GT-class RX-8, so I’m eager for this chance to reunite with the team. A lot of the key personnel are still the same, and it will be a joy to work with them again.
