It’s that time of year again: in August, IMSA comes to my local track of Virginia International Raceway. This year, I’ll be busy coaching clients in a number of the IMSA-sanctioned series running this weekend.

I’ll be helping Automatic Racing again with their Invisible Glass Aston Martin GT4 in Michelin Pilot Challenge, which will be an exciting endeavor. I have a great rapport with the drivers because I’ve not only coached them but also co-driven with both of them in the past, and I’m looking forward to helping them get the best result possible on Sunday.

I’m also excited to be continuing to coach Ashton Harrison in her Lamborghini Trofeo. This is the second double-header weekend of the championship, and she got a great start to the season in the first round. Hopefully Ashton can capitalize on her momentum to get her first win in the series at VIR.

Once again, I’ll also be working with my good friends Stevan McAleer and Joe Robillard in LMP3. I always enjoy working with these two because they’ve got great camaraderie and it’s fun being on the radio with them!

I’m excited for the weekend ahead and will have a full report next week!
